System requirements
Pentium® Processor
Microsoft® Windows® NT 4.0 with Service Pack 5 or 6 (Service Pack 6 recommended) or
Windows 2000 or
Windows XP

Installtion/ Usage of the Product
The product can be installed in two configurations.
1) Operating from DVD
2) Operating from Hard Disk

Installation Procedure for Configuration 1
> Run setup.exe
> Follow the instructions during the setup
> Finish
> Start quaeroCNC while double clicking the appr. icon on your desktop if you chose to install one during the setup or start it throught the Start menu

Installation Procedure for Configuration 2
> Copy the whole DVD to your local hard drive
> Run setup.exe
> Follow the instructions during the setup
> Finish
> Start quaeroCNC while dublu clicking the appr. icon on your desktop if you chose to install one during the setup or start it throught the Start menu Documents with further Informations regarding installing and using the product can be found in the directory user_manuals or in the DVD booklet !
Recommendations regarding unicode quaeroCNC is fully supporting unicode as far as the Adobe Acrobat®/Acrobat Reader® environment allows that.
If you are using quaeroCNC with Adobe Acrobat®/Acrobat Reader® versions below 7 you may see question marks on some dialogs.
This is because quaeroCNC runs as part of Adobe Acrobat®/Acrobat Reader® and thus inherits all restrictions that come along with the appropriate versions. One restriction is that for Adobe Acrobat®/Acrobat Reader® versions below version 7 unicode was not fully supported.
Another point is the support of unicode from your operating system (Windows®). Windows® fully supports unicode as long as you have installed unicode capable fonts like Arial Unicode TTF. quaeroCNC works based on that font and thus it is necessary to ensure that this font is installed.
The setup will check upon this and if necessary recommends to install that font.
