Probably you have changing the internal CompactFlash card..or the existing is defective..?
If yes and do not have a spare CF then you need a new one...
Maybe you needed to install a 2711P-RW2 internal CompactFlash card again
Probably you have a backup CF card ... get another one of the 2711P-RW2 CompactFlash cards and load the RSView ME program onto the terminal.... Then you'd remove that CF card and have it as a spare.. |

I look on the catalog that this problem is missing or corrupt system os firmware. And the correction just reload the firmware. But I can't do that because configuration mode on the display not shown. If you have backup os firmware for internal CF, please shared and how to reload it? |

Plug a USB Keyboard into the USB port in the back and then press the Shift,Ctrl,Windows and Alt keys together and normally this leads you to the config...
Is this happens...??? |

I have project file (.MER file ) and work normally on the terminal before. I use 2711P-RW1 internal CF but I dont have a new one.
Project built VTFiew ME V5.1,
INTERNAL CF TYPE 2711P-RW1 SER C
PV PLUS/ME 3.10.03
WINDOWS CE .NET 4.1 Runtime
Led indicator logic module:

Hai bluedog,
I have tried. When the terminal power up without internal CF 2711P-RW1, Error LED on the module logic solid ON ( Red ) and Comm LED OFF. Nothing anything appear on the display when power up without it. What's the really problem? |

Hello prahas_28,
all symptoms leads to the conclusion that a replacement of the CF card must be done or there are other hardware problems with your terminal....
...however you can try a last resort, you can find out if the problem comes from the faulty location on the memory which contains the .MER file or from the CE system files.....but for finding out this out you need a new CF card... and the following utility:
For 400 600 panels

for 700..1500 panels which is your case:

This utility will bring you in config mode if eventually the initial settings was for entering directly on autorun in runtime...and the locations memory is damaged on that area...and the other hardware from your terminal is OK..
The conclusions after test this could be:
1. If you applied this ...and the terminal didn't go on Config mode than you have to change the CF Card without any doubts...or there are other hardware problems...
2. If you applied this utility ..and the terminal goes on Config mode then use PanelBuilder or RSView to load again all the files in old CF Card..or new one...
So what you have to do to bring up the RSView ME Configuration screen
for disabling the project autorun option and to check if you have not other hardware problems with your terminal....:
Steps:
1 Rename the appropriate attached file,
( http://www.hotfiles.ro/download/pvp700_1500resetmestartup.zip/1018871 ) in your case for, PanelView Plus 700, 1000, 1250, and 1500 terminals, to Autorun.exe and copy the file to a new Compact Flash Card;
Beware: Before making the change name to Autorun.exe, ensure your winodws explorer is set up to display the extension. That means you have to change in Windows Explorer on Tools->Folder ->Options ->View tab. UnCheck the box "Hide Extension for Known File Types",Then click OK.
Now you can change the file name.
2. Insert the compact flash card into the terminal. The program will automatically execute.
(The execution of this program is silent. There is no user interface and no indication that the program is in running or had run.)
3. Wait 30...45 seconds;
4. Remove the Compact Flash Card;
5. Reboot the terminal.
6. Re-configure your terminal settings as desired and load again on old CF card the program...if the Config Mode appears of course...
As I said before if everything is OK with System Files then you should enter in Config Mode and you can reload the >MER file...
But if not...then replace the CF Card and load all the files because is defective for sure...or there is other hardware problems, you have to take this into acount very seriously...
So you need a new FC for testing this....in all cases...
Tell me if you have tried and works..

Hai Messer,
I have tried all your guidance step by step. Finally the problem still occur on the terminal, error message 40 .EXE ERROR still appear on the display. Look the indicator state on the logic module, Fault indicator ( red ) = blinking and Comm ( green ) indicator = ON. It's mean Windows CE OS Firmware failed or missing. My Question :
If the operating system, in this case windows CE have the problem in my internal CF, Can you re-install OS on the CF without using FUW Utility? My opinion, may be you can put the CF from the logic modul and then install windows CE on it, but I confused how to do it? |

The back-up you put on the link is the good one..
If yes ...in this case you have to put these files on a new CF Card..
But you need an adapter to "see" CF Card as an external PCMCIA hard drive..
You can install WinCE 4.1 but also you need this adapter ..and Windows 2000 or WinXP but not with XP3...
I have another question....
Do you have a terminal in which you can test your CF card...
You have to take into account that Logic module could be defective... |
