Hello all, I am new to this forum nd to Allen Bradley and have few doubts running in my mind for our new project
1. We are purchasing Factorytalk View SE Station and Factpry Talk View Studio Enterprise for our project, my doubt is whether we need to install both the station and studio on same PC or the File can be configured on FTV studio on my laptop and played on FTV SE station on the clients PC?
2. Can Factorytalk View Studio Enterprise be used for both SE applications and ME applications or is it solely useful only for the Site Edition applications? |

The problem are licenses...
What is your Network exactly...everything in one PC or what? |

Yeah! We are having a FTV SE local station on clients PC and our company has a plan on purchasing FTV Studio Enterprise also for the development, but are confused whether to purchase FTVStudio Enterprise or give the development to sib contracter for development. We are ready to purchase the FTV Studio Enterprise license also if it can be used for HMI development also.
So as far as I understand Factory talk View Studio Enterprise can be used for HMI development too but the ME license should be purchased separately and doesn't come as standard with Enterprise license? Am i right? |

Yes .. the best idea is to give the development project to a contractor ...
Having skilled engineers they can advice you and your company for the best and cheaper solution... |
