Problems:
FactoryTalk Metrics 9.20.00 Patch: FactoryTalk Metrics tShift resets to 00:00:00 when a shift crosses
midnight
Problem:
tShift resets to 00:00:00 when a shift crosses midnight.
Solution:
This patch is intended for the RSBizWare 9.20 users.
The attached patch fixed the problem.
Installation:
This patch is required on all machines that have RSBizWare installed. Two install options are provided: an auto install (uses a Setup BAT file); and a manual install. Note: To correctly install this patch the user login must have full administrative privileges no matter which install method is utilized.
Auto Install:
To proceed with this install, do the following on all machines in the application. Note: the BAT utility will determine which components are installed on the target machine and will only install those patch files applicable to each machine:
Shutdown any BizWare cleint and server applications on the target machine.
Download and unzip the attached Setup_RAid465494.zip file to any location on the target machine.
In Windows Explorer, navigate to the Setup_RAid465494 folder (or open the Windows CMD prompt and change to the setup folder). Run Setup.bat to start the auto install.
After the BAT file completes, confirm the respective patch file has been installed to the correct location (Note: the auto install will generate a text log file in the Setup_RAid465494 folder which will indicate whether the install succeeded).
Reboot the computer.
Follow the steps below for updating the BizWare ActiveX control on a web client.
If patch 01 is already applied go to the section B.

A. Steps to do if patch 01 is not applied.
On all production clients:
1. Stop the RSBizWare Production Server, RSBizWare PlantMetrics Server services.
2. Shut down all RSBizware clients, including web clients' processes. Close all RSBizware applications.
3. Copy the OEECore.dll file to the Program Files\Rockwell Software\RSBizWare folder.
4. Then start the RSBizWare Production Server, RSBizWare PlantMetrics Server services.
On the production server:
1. Stop the RSBizWare Production Server, RSBizWare PlantMetrics Server services.
2. Shut down all RSBizware client and server processes. Close all RSBizware applications.
3. Copy the OEECore.dll andPlantMetricsServer.exe files to the Program Files\Rockwell Software
\RSBizWare folder.
4. Then start the RSBizWare Production Server, RSBizWare PlantMetrics Server services.
Additionally open RSBizware Configuration Console and regenerate the FTTM transactions for the configured workcells:
· Edit the Performance Parameters settings for the specific workcell
· Regenerate the FTTM transactions by clicking the Generate Transactions button
· Click the OK button |
B. Steps to do if patch 01 is already applied.
