Does anyone have a link to download FactoryTalk Linx Gateway?
I’m running some tests between a CPU 5069-L320ER and a PanelView 5510 that was originally on FW 1.03, which I migrated to FW 8.002. I have the PanelView physically, but not the PLC—I’m trying to simulate it. From what I understand, I may need FactoryTalk Linx Gateway software to make this work.
Does anyone have a download link, or could share how you’ve solved this type of testing scenario? |

FactoryTalk Linx Gateway is designed to transfer tags from the FactoryTalk Network to external programs via the OPC and OPC UA protocols (and MQTT for newer versions).
To emulate the 5069-L320ER controller, you only need Studio 5000 and Studio 5000 Logix Emulate. The Studio 5000 version can be viewed in Notepad by opening the 5069-L320ER controller's .ACD file. |
