Hello M. Jemai,
Try to verify in Task Manager if DIBServer.exe is started..
If this process is not running then try the following steps:
Shutdown FTView ME and run the following commands at a command prompt:
| Code: | 1) regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\RSView Enterprise\SETagBrowser.dll"
2) DIBServer.exe /regserver |
Try to see where is your sfl20asu.dll located...
usually in | Code: | | "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Rockwell". |
If you have something similar on
| Code: | | "C:\windows\sytem32" |
rename this .dll because is from other software installed on your laptop...
and give error...
good luck. |

Dear Messer,
- There is no Process running named DIBServer.exe, and I cant find it on the computer administator console services,
- executing the (regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\RSView Enterprise\SETagBrowser.dll") in commond prompt succeeded but the (DIBServer.exe /regserver) dont pop up any message
- the sfl20asu.dll file is located only on (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Rockwell) there is no any other file or similar name on the hard disk
Hope this symptoms gives you a clear view about the bug,
Thank you for your support

Try to go to registry....
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rockwell Software\.......\Tag Browser
and see what are the values because it could be out of screen....
Try these values ....but you can adapt after your needs and reactions...
Last Position BOTTOM - set the decimal value to 561
Last Position LEFT - set the decimal value to 167
Last Position RIGHT - set the decimal value to 593
Last Position TOP - set the decimal value to 167 |

Thanks for your Time Messer,
I did the setting in the regedit, that changes only the pop up tag panel layout, but the folder can not be browsed (as it was)
Regards

makhdx86,
You did not learn at your school on how to ask a question?
Rockwell has a lot of bugs with a lot of incompatibilities between versions.
When you ask something the first rule for getting an answer is the others understand exactly your situation....What is your situation....
What version of FTView, what RSLinx, what OS.......?????? |
