The EXPPlus media is a product for deploying customized Windows XP Professional/Windows Server 2003 and software components to support Honeywell Experion PKS installations or TPS installations in the event of
1. Hard Disk failure.
2. "Clean Machine" installation scenarios.
EXPPlus bootable media contains Honeywell software, platform drivers, general-purpose software etc. The media also contains EPCTool, which collects the configuration information from the user to generate the configuration files required for the installation. The progress of the installation will be shown in a user interface. This version of EXPPlus media does not support data preservation and therefore is not intended for upgrading Windows platforms.

Installation Procedure
1.Select an EXPPlus Supported Platform for installation.
2.Connect the hardware devices as given in the Device Connections section.
a.Connect the multi-monitor devices as given in multi-monitor connections section.
b.Connect the keyboard and touch screen devices as given in keyboard/touchscreen connections section.
c.Connect the NICs as given in FTE Configuration section.
3.Make sure that BIOS Settings are as per the requirements.
4.Collect all the information as given in the EXPPlus Data Sheet and start the installation by following the installation steps given in the SIUG document.
Preparing for Migration
Using this link will prepare a system for the migration process. Users should read the EMUG (Experion Migration Users Guide) for complete instructions that pertain to migration before starting this process.
This EXPPlus DVD version should only be used on platforms that are currently running Experion Software at a release less than the release labeled on this EXPPlus DVD. (Example: Rxxy.z where xx are the only integers to be considered).
As newer versions of EXPPlus are released, the latest version should always be used when starting a migration.
Click the link below to install the EPCTool. After the installation is complete you will be prompted to remove the EXPPlus DVD and insert the Experion Application Software DVD. When the Autorun page appears from the Experion Application Software DVD, click “Install/Migrate Experion PKS” to proceed.
NOTE: Once installation of this tool is successful it is not necessary to repeat this process should the migration be interrupted, except in the case of a hardware failure. Please refer to the EMUG section “Recovering from a hardware failure during a migration” on how to proceed.
