This library and the application example facilitate the use of the ET 200SP Motor Starter by implementing the reading and writing of the data sets for the corresponding motor starter into your project.

This entry provides an application example and a library which makes it easier for you to integrate the ET 200SP Motor Starter into your application. The library offers you the possibility to simply adopt the blocks and HMI screens used in the application example and use them for your project.
The parameters of the ET 200SP Motor Starter are read out via the functions RDREC and WRREC data sets. The read-out is exemplary shown here, firstly with a direct starter 0.9-3A and secondly with a reversing starter 0.3-1A. The application example is flexibly designed and can easily be adjusted to your setup.

Safe Shutdown of ET 200SP Motor Starters

This example describes three methods for shutting down one or more ET 200SP F-motor starters in a safety-related manner. It uses a fail-safe power module, safety relays or fail-safe input/output modules. All examples meet the requirements of IEC 62061 (SIL3) and ISO 13849-1 (PLe).
A machine is operated with different actuators. To protect the operating staff, these actuators are monitored in a fail-safe controller and shut down through technical protective measures (e.g., emergency stop command device) in the event of danger.

Depending on the application, the ET 200SP motor starter can be safely shut down in different ways.
Solution with the F-PM-E fail-safe power module
This solution shows how to safely shut down one or more actuators with the ET 200SP F-motor starter (3RK1308-0**00-0CP0) in combination with the ET 200SP F-PM-E fail-safe power module.
