I get this error in Factory Talk View 8.20 when I try to open HMI Tags -> Tags. Plz solve this problem. |

Problem
Error: Failed to get names from OPC server when attempting a Test Application.
Solution
Cause 1
RSLinx Enterprise device shortcut was not associated with a PLC device.
Solution 1
RSLinx Enterprise -->Communication Setup - associate device shortcut with the PLC.
Cause 2
RSLinx Enterprise device shortcut was corrupt.
Solution 2
RSLinx Enterprise -->Communication Setup - delete the shortcut and re-create it with the same name. |

| sorry, not for the bottom error. I asked for tag database error. I can't access tag database editor contents. sql server is blocked by something. |
