I hope you are doing well. I have difficulties with MAX-4 servo controller during backing up the program inside the controller. Below is the details of the controller and EPAS-4 software:
Servo Drive Max-4
MAX-4/11/03/128/08/0/0/00
HW:H494A9
SW:00.10.09
EPAS-4 V00.24.03 b00 (Build Nov. 8 2007)
Problem occurs either after opening a project from PLC or opening a saved message of that program:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

If choose Yes, it will show below message and I don't know which directory should I choose:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

And if I left it unchanged, it will show previous message. So if No chosen, it will show this:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

After choosing OK, it will show below message:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

And then this one:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

Then I am facing with this triple option massage:

EPAS-4 v22 for ELAU PacDrive Max-4 Re: libs

Either I choose first option or second option, there will be opened the project but when I want to save project below message will appear:

Afterwards, it will show below message:

I really don't know how can I complete it, Kindly advise me on solving this.

What is the software of the PAC drive MC-4/11/03/400. (Target Version). I want to confirm that the software SW: 00.11.31 is not compatible with this PAC drive. ?

What is important is: the PLC firmware version and servodrive MC-4 firmware version have to be compatible
In general:
Firmware version consist of letter V and three numbers VXX.YY.ZZ
where:
XX - incompatible changes
YY - upwardly compatible changes
ZZ - compatible changes

Compatibility:

PacDrive M Controller FW Version - Servo Dive MC-4 FW Version

• PacDrive M Controller XX must be equal to MC-4 XX
• PacDrive M Controller YY must be greater than or equal to MC-4 YY
• PacDrive M Controller ZZ has no significance

Example: Current CX00 PLC firmware is V00.24.00. Current firmware version of servo drives MC-4 is V00.22.01.
This is OK because LC Cx00 YY is greater as MC4 YY. The best situation is if MC-4 have the same FW version as PLC.

If not, you have to change (upgrade or downgrade) the servo drive firmware to be compatible with PLC firmware by the help of software tool:
"SercosFirmwareAssistant". You can download this software for example from:

Find attached also the presentation how to do it.
You will need only ethernet cable to connect the PLC and the transfer the FW file to the MC-4 will be realized via Sercos ring.

Thanks to all for this post, it have been usefull for me.

Now I have next problem: I upload a software using EPAS 24.03 and an aplication in a C200. I have problem with one library "Robotic_V001622.lib" that I don't have. Stead of that I rebuilded project with "Robotic_V002073.lib" that I download from the previously reply BUT the library have compilation problems:

Error 4001: ROB_FB_RobotPos5 (12): Identifier 'SERC_TYPE' not defined
Error 4001: ROB_FB_RobotPos6 (71): Identifier 'SERC_TYPE' not defined

If any can send me the password of library "Robotic_V002073.lib" or even better send "Robotic_V001622.lib".
