Energy Manager for Unified Comfort Panel
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109781236/energy-manager-for-unified-comfort-panel- (beta-version)
The Energy Manager forms the basis for energetic optimization in your company from the machine to the entire plant.
With the Energy Manager, the user can define key performance indicators in a few simple steps and display them in a suitable way in the dashboard. A pre-defined dashboard enables an analysis of media consumption, costs and the corresponding CO2 emissions. Integrated analysis functionalities enable iute data analysis in order to easily generate information out of data.
With the Edge App Energy Manager, the energy data can be processed into meaningful key figures. With the help of a formula editor, key figures can be defined and these, like the measured values, displayed in the dashboard.
The visualization of the calculated key figures is done by dashboards, which are integrated directly in the app. The dashboards can be customized, deleted and edited at any time. All widgets that are available for visualization can be adapted to your own needs at any time. A predefined dashboard enables the user to analyze the media consumption of a machine, line or the whole site. In addition to the energy consumption, costs, CO2 emissions, the consumption per piece, the energy costs per piece and the CO2 emissions per piece are shown.
The prices and the CO2 equivalent of the individual media can be configured in the simple contract management.
Area of application
Data Service connects the plant with the app. All data sent via the plant bus is transmitted to Data Service and can be stored there in a structured manner. Open Pipe serves as a plant bus on the UCP.
Each node in the structure is designated as an asset and helps to structure the machine into different areas. Based on the structure, it is easier to make specific data available for all lower-level apps, such as Energy Manager.
The structure of Data Service can also be seen in Energy Manager. It can thus easily be connected to the previously defined areas ("assets"). All data in an asset can then be made available as widgets on the Energy Manager dashboards in Energy Manager or processed in KPI calculations.
