The current EMC Filter Module for SIPART PS2 (future: Analog Input Module) will be replaced by two new variants, one for Ex and one for non-Ex applications, each with the following extended functionality.

6DR4004-6F EMC Filter Module / Analog Input Module (AIM) - Ex
Features:
Connection of external position detection systems with 3, 5 and 10 KOhm, configurable via switches.

6DR4004-8F EMC Filter Module / Analog Input Module (AIM) – non Ex
Features:
External position detection systems connectable with 3, 5 and 10 KOhm, 4-20mA and 0/2-10V, configurable via switches.
