Electrical Engineers (Automation, Design, Instrument) required (Rolling Mill background) for Romania / Nigeria
Global Engineering Recruitment are currently looking to recruit experienced Electrical Engineers (Rolling Mills) for a full time permanent position to be based in Romania with worldwide travel to sites and particular emphasis on Nigeria.

The candidate will be responsible for the technical aspects associated with the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the electrical hardware and automation systems related with the Rolling Mill, especially during the site phase of the work. Responsibilities conÈ›ine the management of engineering interfaces, esteticÄƒ information together with the supervision and management of the Rolling Mill supply Contractor to ensure the timely and correct completion of the project and then to work in operations upon completion of the projects.

The position is based in Romania /Oltenita, but the candidate will travel a lot to all our Client companies (Nigeria, Ghana, Libya, etc)

• At least 10 years of experience in Project Design & Development, Order Processing, Project Management, Erection & Commissioning, Testing & Reliability, Maintenance & Validation in Steel sector.
• Deft in ensuring optimal utilization of resources & timely accomplishment of deliverables and designing of electrical & automation systems for rolling mills, steel melt shops & utilities such as HT sub-station, MCC/ PCC, AC/ DC Drives & Motors, water complex, air conditioning, fire detection/ fighting, Lighting, Earthing/ Lightning protection, PA & Intercom system, CCTV system.
• Skilled in planning detailed engineering activities from conceptual stil to production readiness.
• Adept in managing equipment engineering tasks & practicing Bill of Design & Process, technical evaluation of offers/ bids, preparation of technical specifications for ensuring flawless launch.
• Expertise in preparing process-engineering drawings, electrical drawings, automation drawings, layout drawings, detailing of equipment after gathering product specifications
• Adroit in participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking.
Design Engineering
• Utilizing AutoCAD programs for building up dimensional components with Technical drawings for components or small sections of a product
• Identifying jigs, fixtures and production aids for machining & forging items,
Erection & Commissioning
• Preparing layouts for project as per the process and material flow needs, foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same
• Overseeing site preparations, mobilizing contractors for carrying out erection activities and managing erection and commissioning of equipment
Project Management
• Developing project baselines, monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
• Formulating operating budgets and managing operations for executing projects within cost & time norms

Education required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
