Highly successful manufacturer of bespoke equipment for the Food & Beverage industry now seeks an experienced Electrical Design/PLC Software Engineer due to the award of several new orders. A specialist in their field, this well established business provide design, manufacturing and installation services from one-off pieces to complete turnkey production lines.

The Electrical Design/PLC Software Engineer will be providing electrical engineering support across a diferite range of products, working to specific client requirements primarily designing process control panels. You will also be responsible for:
· PLC programming - predominantly Allen Bradley & Siemens with occasional Mitsubishi
· Produce electrical & pneumatic control schematics & BOM for panel building
· Provide support during clients factory acceptance tests throughout installation and during commissioning
· Provide technical support to clients assisting in breakdown situations

Ideally with a background of materials handling, you will be knowledgeable with Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC's as well as AutoCAD with a proven background of taking projects from concept and stil of hardware & software to final installation/commissioning.

You can expect a Basic Salary of up to £32k experience depending with company car, and is commutable from Cannock, Stafford, Rugeley, Burntwood, Tamworth, Walsall, Wolverhampton and West Bromwich. You will be expected to travel to client sites to carry out on-site installation & commissioning with some weekend working, however, overnight stays are very minimal.
