Essential Duties and Responsibilities
DESIGN
• Conceptualize, create and outline complete electrical hardware stil within the bounds set by the project scope as outlined in the final project proposal, and with minimal input from the Lead
Engineers and Project Managers
• Provide direction to Electrical Designers to enable them to complete the design
• Support Electrical Designers in the specification and sizing of components as needed
• Provide guidance to Electrical Designers regarding component suitability as needed
• Answer questions from and provide instruction to Electrical Designers regarding relevant codes (IE:
NEC, UL 508A , NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and CE)
• Work closely with project engineers
• Work independently as well as under direction

Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to conceptualize controls electrical hardware design outlines for a variety of scenarios and applications
• Knowledge of established code and standards
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Familiarity with Autocad

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required
• Over 5 years of Controls Design Experience
