is this a seperate global license or are these the individual licenses of Vijeo Citect / Unity Pro / OFS OPC ?
Looks like Schneider also made their "PCS7" "DCS" which is nothing more than a collection of all their seperate software packages.
When you look at these videos it looks like a lot a seperate configuration work.

So apart from the DCS like object "library" I don't see much value instead of a normal seperate setup (Unity / Vijeo Citect / OFS).

Schneider makes a lot of acquisitions on the latest 10 years with ambition to be a global player.
The problem was that this process was made with absolutely not connected softwares ..Citect, Wonderware as examples...
It's very difficult to integrate on an aggregate software with completely different components...
It's a process to follow on where Schneider wants to go.... |
