This is a complete new install. If you already have a previous version of 7.0 installed you may choose to keep it installed for supporting existing installed projects or you can uninstall V7.0.
If you choose not to un-install a previous version you can install V7.1 and both software versions will co-exist on your development PC.
Note: | Quote: | | If your Visual Designer development license on your hardkey is only set to V7.0 you may upgrade your license by running the Register program (Start>All Programs>Eaton>Visual Designer v7.X>Register) and choose “Check…”, then “Change License…”.
