Direct Search Password S7 by dictionary
tested on CPU226 + CP5611 PPI + CP5512 PPI
Program not support serial cable PC/PPI.
Version 3.13

I am testing the program "Search Password S7" using the Brute Method to find the password of a S7-200 CPU 226.
I connect the PLC with the PC with a serial cable PC/PPI.
It is searching for a password and I see each current password that is tried.
Why you say that the program does not support the serial cable PC/PPI?
The passwords that the program shows in the field "current password" are not tried to the PLC?

if it works also with a serial cable PC/PPI then it's OK.
I had not time to test for that cable. |

But, how can I know that the generated passwords are tested indeed on the PLC?
What is more, is there a way to bypass the password and not try to find it with the brute force attack, because it needs too much time?
If i want to find a password of 8 characters that may have 26 latin letters, 26 capitals, 10 numbers, 1 space and 32 symbols, it ends to be 95 characters.
The program tries 348 passwords/minute as it indicates.
So, i want (95^8)/348=.....minutes=39.401.053,03 years
So the only way is to bypass the password.
How is this possible? |

If I start firstly the Free Serial Port Monitor, I can see the data that are transferred. So, it seems that the passwords are tested on the PLC. |

Welcome to the password of the CPU 214, 222, 224, 226 no problem.
Password is read in 15-40 minutes max. The need to spin the CPU, copy the contents of the memory and decode the password. |
