Which version do you have?for example 6.1.386....
and how do you want active your license? with dongle or LLC file?

Many years ago i installed this version with no problem.
First reset your Windows to first start time.(Just windows 7 64 with lastest net)
After reseting disconnect your PC from internet.
Install your XWP completly if you seen any error in install page take screenshot for me.
At the end open your LMS(LMU) and go to the Active license part.then enter your serial or upload your LLC.
Never forgot you should take backup from your license with LMS.

You can't activate Xworks without dongle in a VM!
