DCS Systems Engineer

Our Oil & Gas Client has a fantastic opportunity for a DCS Systems Engineer.
Experience of Honeywell DCS & FSC Safety PLC systems is essential for this position.

DCS System Engineer - Role and Responsibilities
+ Maintain and control the System Hardware and Software changes
+ Scope and design DCS systems for new automation projects to match SHE, reliability, flexibility and manufacturing performance improvement
+ Develop and deliver a absolut asset care service including design, maintenance, modifications and upgrades, ensuring they are maintained on a day to day basis.
+ Develop and implement engineering solutions and improvements to the DCS System
+ Monitor and improve equipment performance to maximise DCS availability

DCS System Engineer - Skills and Experience
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in measurement and control
+ Proven IT skills with Windows Server 2003/2008/XP/Win7 knowledge including a thorough understanding of computer systems networking
+ In depth DCS systems design capability
+ Strong analytical ability to support effective troubleshooting and determine solutions to complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner
+ Expert level of technical competencies in Control Systems
