DCOM for Windows 7,10, & Server 2008R2 and Newer
There are five steps to configuring DCOM.
Opening DCOMConfig.exe
Configure General/Default Settings
Configure settings for OPCENUM
Configure settings for OPC Server
Configure Local Security Policies
To start the DCOM Configuration type “DCOMCNFG.EXE” from the start menu
