Hello everyone !
I need a certain display from a SE project and transfer it to a newly made ME project.
I tried Adding component into application, by selecting the .gfx file of the display I need from the SE project, but the error "Unnamed file has bad format" appeared.
Then I tried exporting the display from the SE project, and importing it into the ME project, but then appeared the error "The schema file 'Gfx-SE11.xsd' specified in the XML file is invalid for this product. The schema file should be 'Gfx-ME11.xsd'.
Import completed with errors."
So I guess it's impossible to copy a display from SE to ME after all ?
Please help ! The display is complicated, and I seriously don't want to draw it again from scratch.
Thanks in advance.

SE to ME migration
Try this Excel to automate the task of editing the SE XML export files to conform to ME standards
You will have to change the file extension from .xls to .xlsm.
https://bayfiles.com/u5e8X8q4bd/SE_to_ME_v1.0_rar
Press Alt+F11 to see code or go through the developer ribbon in Excel
SE->ME or ME->SE???
You have to decide because in three phrases you contradict yourself twice...

Okay, I tried converting it in Excel, error 52 appeared saying bad file name or number. I clicked Debug, and it pointed to Open inPath For Input As #hf from this code:

' Read in SE input file
Open inPath For Input As #hf
LinesA = Split(Input$(LOF(hf), #hf), vbNewLine)
Close #hf
