Hi,
I have a E& H thermometer tip No:TR66 and S7 1200 PLC (6ES7 212-1HE40-0XB0)
E &H thermometer provides 4 to 20 Ma output.
S7 1200 plc analog input is 0 to 10 V.
So please guide whether we need to connect resistance in between Analog input in PLC? If so how much Ohms resistance and also power rating of resistor we need to connect..
Also please guide on the wiring diagram also..
2M ,0..here how to connect the TR66 E and H to PLC..
Thanks .. |

Precision 500 Ohm
10V/0.02 mA= 500 Ohm |

what about Watt of the resistor ???
If we choose higher watt for safety will it blow out?? |

10mA x 500 Ohm
P=RxIxI = 500ohm x 0.010A x 0.010A = 0.05W
P>=0.05W |
