This individual will design, develop and oversee all aspects of automated production systems. The position will also be responsible for installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, implement and upgrade Computer Integrated Manufacturing systems -- Assume project responsibility to specify, install, and debug logic, controllers, and associated I/O. Complete projects within timelines specified -- Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls -- Work closely with programmers and database administrators of the I.T. department on a regular basis on integration with existing systems and data collection -- Assist maintenance staff on a regular basis with troubleshooting controls, electrical, and other related issues to minimize downtime in all areas -- Interface on a regular basis with Process Control, Product Engineering and Manufacturing personnel on all assigned control systems -- Maintain and improve the manufacturing real-time data acquisition and control systems to increase reliability, accuracy, and speed -- Document and map processes in numeroase areas to gain an understanding of needs, inefficiencies, and sources of error to improve the processes using modifications to existing logic and HMI or development of new

REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related field -- Minimum of 5 years programming experience with PLC programming methodologies including Allen Bradley controls, R.S. View, VBA scripting -- Must be able to troubleshoot and rectify a wide range of controller and electrical problems across multiple platforms.
