This is a truly outstanding opportunity for an ambitious control systems engineer with Siemens S7 or Rockwell/Allen
Bradley SLC 500/5000 experience to take the step up to the next level of motion control software programming and HMI work
on a project basis under the guidance and direction of a Siemens Simotion and controls integration expert.

Cygnis is part of the Cygnet Group in Northwichand they provide integrated solutions on a project basis up to Â£7m in
value across a range of industries including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, materials handling and complex process.
They have a multi-skilled mechanical and electrical team containing an array of skill and versatile engineering expertise
which approaches a project in an innovative and quality-focused manner. They seek new engineering talent on the control
systems side under the guidance of a machine interface and motion control software expert.

This role is a focal one within Cygnis as its key objective is to improve the quality of control systems engineering on
offer to clients and work across a wide variety of interesting projects. You will be programming a variety of different
PLC types, mainly Siemens and Allen Bradley/Rockwell motion control software as well as a range of SCADA, HMI, SQL,
Profibus and Panelview design work. You will also be involved in programming a variety of robots, commissioning work and
engineering support throughout the duration of the project. You will also be responsible for helping control costs,
assisting with proposals and customer liaison.

The successful person will be a proven or up and coming control systems engineer or PLC software programmer within a
capital machinery environment. Skills in programming Siemens or Rockwell PLCâ€™s are a necessity, as well as experience of
a variety of controls engineering work. You also need a hands on can-do attitude to get projects delivered in a timely
manner, to budget and to the right quality. Excellent communication skills and an ability to organise, plan and
prioritise core tasks are also essential. Other ideal skills and experience include robot (Fanuc, ABB and Kawasaki)
programming, HMI, SCADA, SQL, Profibus and Panelview work.
