Hello,
I'm trying to communicate PLC Schneider TM251MESE and robot Epson T3-401s, using protocol TCP/IP. I have looked for informations about it on many forums and tried to find solution in help for SoMachine and my PLC, but I still don't have any idea how to do it.
Has somebody tried to solve similiar problem? Do you know how to do it?

A standard control for EPSON SCARA T401S look like in the image below.

So, for extending Inputs/Outputs you need an extended card which communicate to the PLC which executes commands from TController.
For this to happen you need to connect the Robot Controller via a Card to the slaves which executes commands on machinery.
You have these options:
PROFIBUS-DP SLAVE FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

CC-LINK BOARD FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

PROFINET BOARD (SLAVE) FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

ETHERCAT BOARD (SLAVE) FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

ETHERNET / IP BOARD (SLAVE) FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

DEVICENET BOARD (SLAVE) FOR EPSON SCARA T SERIES

Depending on which card do you have you can or cannot connect to the Robot Controller the PLC you have.

Just in case you are using the PC with RC as master you have to have in PC Controller a Master Card for Communication , |
