Hello Experts,
I want to know the way of communication between these two i.e Hmi and PLC. I have tasted my logic and successfully build up communication between this HMI (Biejer) and siemens (PLCSIM) . What i did is just selected a controller (simatic TCP/IP) in software (ix developer) and put the same i/O address (i.e I0.0 for input and Q4.0 for output) in tags after selecting the controller which i used in my siemens program and it started to communicate but for Allen bradley (as i am new to this PLC ) i can find the controller of Allen bradley ethernet but in tags it is not accepting the same compus which i used in RSLOGIX5000. it's a bit confusing for me. A little help from a person who has worked on this hmi and controller would be highly appreciated.

PLC:1756-L61 Control Logix5561
HMI: ixT7BR
SOFTWARE HMI: ix Developer
SOFTWARE PLC: Micrologix 5000

Did you ask the appropriate driver fron Beijer:
EtherNet/IP (ControlLogix & CompactLogix)
DF1
DH485
MicroLogix Ethernet
SLC5/PLC5 Ethernet

First of all, sorry for late reply as i was waiting for the controller which we ordered (Allenbredley)

Now, Actually the link mentioned is showing the drivers which are preinstalled with the Biejer software and it's showing Ethernet IP and i have ethernet module so i dont think any complications with these two.

I am new to both the Allenbredley plc and This special HMI. I have the HMI and the controller physically in our office and we have to test the communication so that we will be able to setisfy our Client.

The problems are)

How to setup the hardware (Configuration) in RSLOGIX 5000.
Is there any additional software required to built the communication like (RSlinx), if yes then how and what are the procedures?
Then the final thing how to build the communication between them.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Hi guy,
I have the same problem, I always use Schneider PLC and the communication between PLC and HMI was established.
I am struggling with the AB PLC. On the Beijer I selected Allen Bradley then MicroLogix Ethernet (or also Ethernet/IP).
The issue is that I don't know what to add, in the Beijer, on the controller tag in the the Tag window.

Any help?
