Subject: Commissioning of Sinumerik 802d

We have obtained a SUPERMAX YCM 40 machine. It has been fitted with a Sinumeric 802d controller. The machine was not being used for a long time(in years) and was giving problem in the start. So in order to restart it, we tried many technicians but most of them though helpful on the phone were busy and unable to tend to the machine personally.

So I tried to take the problem in my own had and tried to sort out the problem in starting the machine and in this, I accidentally powered up the machine with the default values. That deleted all the drive configuration and has now created a bigger problem for us, as the person who provided us with the machine and us both don’t have the machine controller backup.

We want to reconfigure the controller of the machine as a 3 axis milling machine. Is it possible for anyone to guide us with the same?
Please note: we don’t have any prior experience on the CNC machine

I have a 802D machine (3 axis CNC), I know some of the controller and have a backup of config etc...
