Combining safe machines to form a safe production line

The blocks offered here enable the integration of a machine into a production line. All in compliance with the necessary safety standards. For this purpose, blocks must be implemented and data made available on both the machine side and the line controller side.
This application example provides clear answers to several key questions that arise when combining safe machinery to form a safe production line. In addition, it provides blocks and data types that can be used to safely operate the line.
The following figure shows an example structure of such a production line. CE-compliant machines are combined to form a production line. A higher-level, central line controller is added, which uses a standardized interface for secure communication with the machines.
