See here the data sheet for CJ1W-SCU (Serial Communication Units)

You can see here that there are an integrated port for RS485 Communication:

and communication using standard RS-485 port (on meter unit): 2-wire connection, up to 38.4 kbaud, Modbus (ASCII and RTU) or JBUS protocol.

Executing a Created Communications Sequence (CS/CJ) at pag 159.
Unfortunately I do not have a practical elaborated example software for communication.
