Hello, I’ve been using CJ2M for a bit now. It was usually for a small projects, but now i’ve been given a task to make a process for CH4 gas extraction station. It has 36 gas pipes and i have to control flow of each pipe depending on CH4 levels. I’m planning to use one CPU and 5 Slaves (1 on each 8 pipes), but i don’t really know witch units to use for MASTER and SLAVES, could anyone help with that? |

You do not specify what type of network do you intend to use..but for a MODBUS network you have

| Thanks for the replay scooby ! I've been using ethernet FINS and UDP protocol to connect to HMI , I don't really know if it will work in this case? I'm just wondering about connection , can I use my cj2m cpu as master and use build in ethernet/ip port for connection and if so what kind of modules I should use for slaves? Could I use CJ1W-ECT21, but it has EtherCAT protocol , it's just so confusing with all these protocols! |
