I need to communicate via Modbus TCP two SE products: Quantum PLC and Magelis, to a RX3i PLC. The quantum is the master here and has to request info from RX3i. I;m using Vijeo Designer V6 and it does not have drivers for PACs. Is there any version that has it?

Also, can I configure a modbus tcp device on magelis as if adding SE products?

Is my first time communicating to this kind of products and the Quantum is programmed in FBD.

Any and all tips are much appreciated.

If the drivers are not there, you might be out of luck. If the PACs have Modbus/TCP, it is a standard driver and should be fine if you select the Modbus/TCP driver.

You might have better luck on http://www.plctalk.net with this type of question - Quantum seems to be a niche product.

Best of luck!

Thanks! Actually, there is a driver, but only for 90-30 PLC. I also thought it may be used, but don't know if it's worth the risk, considering a later version may have drivers for this specific PAC.

I'll check out over there, thanks for the tip.
