C&I Automation Maintenance Engineer to £35k
Two experienced Control & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineers now urgently required for a well established chemical manufacturing plant in Essex. With 20 plants in operation, this family owned business have an excellent reputation for supplying products globally to a variety of industries including detergent, paper, water treatment and chemical.

The C&I Maintenance Engineers will primariliy be responsible for the following:

- Fault finding, maintenance, configuration and calibration of instrumentation e.g. pressure, temperature, level transmitter, flow meter (mass and volume), totalizers, PID controllers, I/P converters, control valves, pH probes & pH controller, etc
- Fault finding on PLC & SCADA systems for controlled chemical processes
- Commissioning of process plant consisting
- Involvement in modification of PLC & SCADA software programmes
- Control panel modification
- Installation of PLC software and SCADA software
- Proof testing of SIL loop instruments

We are seeking applicants with a proven instrumentation & control background ideally with experience of

- Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC`s
- Wonderware InTouch SCADA systems
- Ablity to program PLC & SCADA systems however if you can make modifications your applications will still be considered
- Process control background

This is very much a site based position, however roughly three times a year you will be expected to spend up to a week away from home working on a different site for commissioning work.
