Automation Development Application and Controls Engineer, based in Hants, contract role market rates
Essential experience and qualifications need by applicants
Educated to degree / HND / HNC level in relevant electrical and electronic engineering
Experience in manufacturing industrial automation
Experience in integrating of automated production systems hardware/software (SCADA/PLC/networks)
Experience with MES development and commissioning
Commissioning experience
Previous use of Siemens hardware, PLC and Win CC SCADA software
Data communication networks (Industrial Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, ControlNet, DeviceNet etc)
Programming and commissioning PLCs (Ladder Diagram, Functional Block, Structured Text, ISaGRAF)
Design of HMI mimics
Outstanding PC literacy- skilled in working with Microsoft Office applications to expert level.
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of people is essential together with the ability to demonstrate and implement innovative solutions
Experience of Systems Integration
Preferred Experience / Knowledge / Skills
Possess excellent communication skills
Be comfortable working both effectively in a team environment and also independently based on the task at hand
Analytical and Creative
Meticulous Attention to Detail
Familiarity with aerospace quality requirements
Basic knowledge of aerospace engineering (ideally composites orientated)
Experience of Autocad
Experience of Eplan
The role Reporting to the Principle Project Leader this role will be responsible for technical aspects of design, installation and commissioning for automation, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and control systems hardware and software, and SCADA systems.

This includes the facilitation of technical proposals, the development of architecture, networks, PLCs and HMI for production systems, particularly their integration in to an automated environment
Working in conjunction with numeroase suppliers and internal stakeholders the role will conține developing specifications required to design, integrate, implement and document automation system application software
