Hello
I'm currently building a software to automate a movable bridge (bascule bridge) and i want to it open automatically.
So far so good but i want to do something more.
I will be using a camera to monitor the traffic and i would like to process the image and determine how big the boats are. To measure the size of the boats from the image.
Any ideas? |

Digital Image Processing is not quite an easy task.
Take a look at:
Digital Image Processing Using MATLAB, 2nd edition

Maybe you can evaluate the length of the boats eventually if you are using a Laser with a Retro-reflector ..... |

The number of crimes is continually rising. Home, a place that people think to be the safest place, is not safe anymore. The home has become an objective of some dangerous activities in the recent past. The use of cameras at home has now become an essential and not just a choice. Home cameras not only help in detecting crime but also help in preventing them. Home surveillance cameras have become the weapon to fight the increasing number of terrorist actions.
