hello,
I have an AOI (ADD ON INSTRUCTION) of ATV drive (Rslogix 5000 v20)
it remplace the drive role or I must connect the drive ?

the add on instruction is just a way of controlling your drive. The logic for it is under add on instructions in the I/O tree. This is to keep the program clean and to have reusable logic for different applications.
