Anonymous hacktivists target MIT websites over Aaron Swartz suicide
The "hacktivist" group Anonymous has attacked websites run by the Massachsetts Institute of Technology following the suicide of Aaron Swartz, a free information activist who was due to face trial for the theft of academic papers from the university.
The suicide of Aaron Swartz, a co-founder of Reddit and free information activist has prompted tributes from those who knew him, including Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the web.
