|
|
I would like to add push buttons and selector switches to Eplan 8 parts list but haven't been able to find any after searching quite a few manufacturers website. I was looking for .edz files, am I searching for the wrong files?
How would I go about getting those buttons added?
Thanks
Kal

On tutorial
http://www.eplan.help/help/platform/2.7/en-US/tutorial/p8/index.html
use how to add symbols and macros.
On that folders you can find switches and buttons.. |

Which part of that page has "use how to add symbols and macros."
There is:
Placing schematic symbols.
Placing macros with place holder objects
Using and creating macros
Or did you mean somewhere else? |

Thanks satmetyk.
I am looking to add push buttons to the part list so I can connect one to a push button symbol.
I went to the link below and found the buttons I wanted and downloaded the .csv files but for some reason when I imported them they didn't get added to the parts list.
https://www.eplandata.de/portal/en_US/list/?mf=SE&qfs=1&clang=en_US&mcat=_eplan&lang=en_US&s=1&edpp=1.0&ev=1.9.11
I was able to find .edz files for siemens buttons and added them with no problems but many other manufacturers have a .csv that I haven't figured out yet. Eaton on the other hand has a small program to add their parts to Eplan.

Thanks. I tried that and it works if import from and csv file that I exported which probably mean that the csv files from EplanData site are not set up properly. If true that would be very strange but not unexpected.
Thanks for all your help. |
