|
|
Good day.
Tell me how in Tia v15 to organize a connection (second Connection) between two devices with the TP700 comfort panel and in our case ELAU PacDrive C400 A8.
How to add our controller to the list, is there any instruction? |

You cannot connect to TP700 via PROFINET eventually PROFIBUS
How do you integrate C400 in TIA project with gsdml or gsd files?
Probably with PROFIBUS and in that case you have to use a Master Profibus ELAU C400 Drive and a Slaves as TP700 and eventually a
ET 200S, IM151-8 PN/DP CPU or 6ES7 516-3AN01-0AB0 PN/DP as Profibus Slave. |

We have Siemens 1500 CPU, Elau S400, NMI TP700 comfort on the filling machine and we only have PROFINET.
The question is how do we organize the communication of the HMI and the C400 relay, so that we can set the koiands for the relay from the panel. |

There are some drawbacks in your explanation:
1. What type of cable do you have between CPU and ELAU?
2. Do you have any Communication module in your rack?
3. It's clear that all data between CPU and HMI is done via CPU so no need a new connection between HMI and ELAU.
4. The only communication which can be realized in this case with Elau PacDrive C400 V8 is via ETHERNET Communication:
In this case you can use this Library for TCP/IP Communication with ELAU and CM 1542-1 FW V1.0.6 or CP 1543-1 FW V1.1.28 because there not other possibility. Do you have this hardware CM 1542-1 FW V1.0.6 or CP 1543-1 FW V1.1.28 on your machine?
How to add library to project:
5.If the parameters on ELAU are set from HMI via CPU S-1500 Communication you have to see program in ELAU Drive.
So read carefully how to connect with this lib which works also under TIA13 SP1.
SIMATIC: Communication Library LCom for Ethernet Communication
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/48955385/simotion-simatic%3A-communication-library-lcom-for-ethernet-communication
Read also some readouts just in case
How do you lucrate the project data for the SMC so that you can download the project to the S7-1200/S7-1500 CPU even without STEP 7 (TIA Portal)?
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/48711409/how-do-you-create-the-project-data-for-the-smc-so-that-you-can-download-the-project-to-the-s7-1200-s7-1500-cpu-even-without-step-7- (tia-portal)
Use SIMATIC Automation Tool
SIMATIC Automation Tool - the commissioning and service operation tool for SIMATIC modules
https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/98161300/simatic-automation-tool-the-commissioning-and-service-operation-tool-for-simatic-modules
6. If you do not have any communication module on Rack maybe the use of the S7-1500 CP FETCH/WRITE services and S7-1500 as I/O Controller.
The FETCH/WRITE services are supported by the following protocols:
TCP
ISO-on-TCP
ISO transport
A configured connection is not required for using the FETCH/WRITE services.
7. You can also send and receive data via Ethernet (UDP) or FDL
You can find a program example for TUSEND & TURCV in Help TIA Portal 15 or 15.1
Make a hand drawing of network connections maybe can help you. |

| But these Allen Bradley Drivers only show "compactlogix, contrologix" and Micrologix series, they don't show Micro800 series controllers which also use Ethernet/ip protocol, so should I select Ethernet/ip for Compactlogix/controllogix? Will it work for micro800 controllers? |

Maybe you should choose an Ethernet IP Adapter to PROFINET Controller Gateway Integration of PROFINET I/O Devices through mapping into Ethernet IP Control systems
