The function blocks IO_LINK_MASTER and IO_LINK_DEVICE represent the implementation of the communication (PROFIBUS DP or PROFINET IO) from and to IO-Link devices and master modules standardized for IO-Link technology.
The following library contains function blocks for processing the device parameters for IO-Link communication modules of SIMATIC S7 and the data records of the connected IO-Link devices.
The IO_LINK_MASTER block works with the following SIMATIC S7 communication modules
ET 200SP CM 4xIO-Link
ET 200AL CM 4xIO Link
ET 200ecoPN IO-Link Master
S7-1200 SM 1278 IO-Link
The library contains the IO-Link blocks for STEP 7 V14 SP1 Basic and Professional (S7-300/400/1200/1500).
