Upgraded the firmware of an PM554ETH from 2.x to 2.4.4, because after building the project with Automation Builder 1.1 the onboard IO's were not working and the PLC displayed an error. Automation Builder lists the AC500-eco firmware as 2.4.1 but no such download could be found. So I got the 2.4.4 version.
But after upgrading the AC500-eco to firmware 2.4.4 the PLC is stoned - no login is possible - neither Ethernet nor COM1!
The IP-configuration tool from Automation Builder "sees" the PLC with correct IP parameters.
Is there a way out, can I downgrade to the old version or shall I order a new PLC?

Probably the error was not because of the firmware. When changing firmware beware of the other modules.
But in your case just rewrite your SD Card with the older firmware and check what was wrong.

Zeck, thanx for your answer, it was as usual - the Ac500 PM554ETH is OK and rocksolid! After repeatedly trying to log from my workstation without success, I gave a try from a neighboring PC and voila... there was the PLC. Seems Automation Builder is playing it's usual tricks. After restarting Automation Builder logging functioned on my workstation as well! Thank You for the download links, but the ABB download center has later versions:
