So, there was an old program called robEdit, targeted at older ABB S4 controllers (but it can edit the first gen IRC5 files also).

The company is not active anymore, and the program can be downloaded on a cached version of their site in archive.org

For S4 controllers, it is a very good tool, but it have a license, that must be activated with a dongle or a license file.

If someone with the right skills wants to try creating a remedy, that would be great. :-D
