You use a TK503. USB to serial.
The driver to the cable TK503 is included on the dvd/usb with Control builder plus v 2.xx. Read the readme before installing the cable!!!
For firmware 2.xx
The setup of the communication port
For 1.xx
If it is a firmware version 1.3x you need to only start Codesys.
Use your windows start-->programs-->3S software-->Codesys version 2.3 |

To find out the PLC Version, read the Code No like "1TNE968900R0100" which printed on PLC :
If the code no. ended with 100 series then it will be version 1.3 and you can use Codesys 2.3 software.
if code no. ended with 200 series then it will be version 2.x and you can use Control Builder Plus. |

thanks for the reply its firmware 1.3 and codesys 2.3 working fine with this, and for cable i simply used rs485 to usb converter. |

For programming of PM554 you need the TK503 or TK504 in combination with a TA562.

Thanks so much. But I don't have project . I only have PLC. This PDF is about to download project to SD then download project with SD to PLC. am I correct? |
