| For some reason today, my standard edition woudn't open a recent project file. I uninstalled and tried a reinstall but after install, I go to run it and get the cce.shell.exe error and cannot go any further. I tried to install on an unassocaited laptop and the same. Could there be a new windows update screwing things up? Am out of options. I have 2 jobs that i need this for and cannot get any running! Thanks in anticipation |

You need roll back the Microsoft month security update KB4480970 from 9 jan 2019
We was roll back to Windows Restore Point created before install this update and resolve problem. |

| Thanks. Yes, I contacted Rockwell. There is also the same for W10 though a different KB. |
