Has anyone ever programmed the 2711-T9C9 using PanelBuilder32? I can not communicate with the Panelview. I'm using ver 3.80 and a 2711-NC13 cable. but, it never connects. Have tried several Motherboards.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!! |

As I know it is a DH485 using RS232 media (9 pin) with a RS232 printer port.
To access the DH485 port you will need a computer with a real serial port running on XP SP2 or SP3 and use
1. the AIC driver in RSLinx and a straight through cable
2. or a 1747-UIC using the RS232 port and a straight through cable.
Do you have this OS and cable? |

thankx, Luke
I'll try the PIC - AIC. I'm running XP SP3.
I didn't want to do this but, since the PanelView Manual connection didn't work, I'll have to use the "backdoor".
Thankx, again!!
