I am developing a system based on a SLC-5/05 processor and 1747-SDN. The SDN module resides in slot 6 of a 13-slot chassis and will be used to communicate to a Flex-IO rack in a remote control panel that consists of 1-32ch input module and 1-32channel output module (and an adapter of course).

In reading a variety of manuals for the various pieces of hardware, it sounds like the first 4 bytes will correspond to the input module and be available as bits in the SLC input map. The 4 bytes associated with the output module should show up in the SLC's output map.

1. Is this correct and if so, what should the I/O map addresses be? I:6.0, I:6.1, O:6.0 and O:6.1?

2. This is the only Devicenet node on this network (except for the scanner). If I added another Flex-IO rack identical to the first, what would it's I/O map addresses be?

Thanks,
J
