We have one DO card (1734-OB8) in slot no 17 of the remote equipment which is giving error 16#00ff. I tried following things to eliminate this fault:
1) Replaced the card 1734-OB8 in the 17th slot with new one but still the problem existed.
2) Exchanged the base module 1734-MB with slot no 18, but still the problem was same.
3) Even exchanged the DO card 1734-OB8, with 18th slot and it was working fine in the 18th slot but the one which is in 17th slot was still giving the same fault code 16#00ff.
4) Checked in the manual for the description for the error code 16#00ff, but couldn’t find anything for this code.
5) To run the system, I have changed the outputs to other spare outputs which was available. Currently the system is running but with warning in the DO card at 17th slot.
Please advise me on this, what to be done |

Maybe you have to check connectors... |
